Dr. Stroman graduated from Michigan State University in 1986, went on to medical school at The University of Michigan, then completed his pediatric residency at The University of Chicago. He has been practicing in Northwest Indiana since 1994.  He is an AAP Fellow and is Board Certified.

Dr Stroman is the Chairman of Pediatrics at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

Dr. Stroman also loves to play rugby! He has been playing since Medical School...

Dear Parents,

I've been a practicing pediatrician for over 20 years. My style encompasses both a conservative and practical approach towards childcare.

From my training at the University of Michigan & the University of Chicago, I have learned to: Not prescribe medications unnecessarily & to minimize hospital stays with up-to-date pediatric care & vaccinations.

Being a father/step-father, I have also learned to be practical in regards to raising children (potty training, discipline, eating issues, even those teens!, etc).

I enjoy working with parents & assisting them to raise their children. I enjoy working with the kids- it's my life's work & what I do best!

I combine the two approaches above with a personal touch & strive to be the best pediatrician for your child(ren).
